LIVE LOVE

On the road to discovering that the victorious end is in sight for those of us whose hope is in the living God and His unfailing love. Communicating with a faithful friend or two over the last few years has made me to realize the depths of God's love like never before. It is not our performance that He is interested in. His measure is not our measure. There is no charting His affections. No measure can comprehend or describe Him. He prefers to really know us. He desires that we truly know Him. Since He knows all things there is no need for us to inform Him, but He likes to hear our voice and see our face and share His heart and be there when we discover what has been hiding in the depths of our own hearts for so long (we can be so blind). Communicating is a big part of our relationship. Fellowship. Intimacy. Listening. Responding. Giving and receiving. Pure friendship. Though I'm beginning to think He wants a little more than just 'friendship.' He wants to be more than ...

"Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom." Proverbs 23:4 This is the exact opposite of what we learn from our society today. Most people in this country and beyond have been raised with a mindset that makes financial gain their top priority. Most people labouring to be rich or to "get ahead", are only tired and exhausted from wearing themselves out with all they were never meant to carry any way. God helps those who help themselves...is our own wisdom. Follow your heart...is our own wisdom. You can be whatever you want to be if you just set your mind to it and get an education...this is our own wisdom. Social security...our own wisdom. Our own wisdom is anything but secure. Pitfall is just a letter or two away from pitiful. Could we be a few inches from a pitfall or maybe we are already in a pit, when we do not realize that our source for life and everything good comes from above. How sad it is when we are too busy to rest against His heart and receive...

Without. Running on E. Starving for affection. Untouched. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually neglected. Hurting desperately, longing for change. Most of these words describe families around the world. People that exchanged vows and made promises, "for better or worse," and then let their love grow cold. Worse can come quickly if you or the person you are married to is not with you truly in their heart. Starving for love... sadly, barely touches on what many individuals in the Body of Christ are experiencing. Why? Fear mostly. Lies. Unbelief. Greed and selfishness. Anybody want to show the world with their life..."GOD IS LOVE..." I John 4:8 If we would grow a backbone where our wishbone is, many many would be delivered from their self made hells and would choose the way of the KINGDOM of God. Oh that men would worship the God who made them and ask him for direction and walk in humility and live in the freedom He gives!

How do you know? When will you know? What do you think you know? "God speaks one way and yet another though man may not perceive it." (Through Rick & Bubba or Job 33:14) There are 'Words of Knowledge' and there is self deception. There is gathering to you what your itching ears want to hear, and then there is true discernment that comes through the Holy Spirit. Just because someone says they have the Holy Spirit does not mean they actually do. Test every spirit. More frequently than we realize we interact with angels of light (and I don't mean the good kind.) Peeps in the body of Christ strongly convinced, fully believing, that they have heard from the Lord on a certain issue or matter that they were seeking confirmation on. Along with visions, dreams, and confirmations, they have received other "words" from random individuals that confirm the 'words' they previously received. It is downright scary when their "words" include others ...

My dad passed away 11 years ago. He was an infantry sergeant in the USMC. He served in the vietnam war. Forty years ago he became a vietnam disabled veteran. Just yesterday my mom received a package in the mail from USMC, they finally got around to sending my dad his metals. Evidently paperwork was misplaced sometime between battle, surgery, or his date of discharge. I know at least a few folks that are seeking earthly recognition, working themselves to the bone for what? Exerting energy on wordly achievements, temporary titles and positions that cannot and will not satisfy. It is good to work diligently, as unto the King. Quite a few people aiming for and working towards retirement. Nothing wrong with that I suppose. WOMEN --- We need to check our nagging mistrust at the door. Do you honestly think your husband wants to come home to an interrigation? Hows about putting some of that energy and thought into how much more you could be serving him, loving him, and appreciating him. Yes, some of us are good at multi-tasking, but do not allow your thoughts to travel and wonder about in foolish speculation while you're doing housework, taking care of the children, or cooking. There is alot to be done. It's hard to accomplish something with excellence if you are divided and are doing it with half of your heart. Food taste better when it is cooked with love. Home is a place of rest when strife is not a welcomed guest. If there is strife, do not let it come through you. Do whatever you have to do to get rid of a wrong attitude. Mmm this is a sore subject that many probably would like to avoid. Plenty of avoiding the issues are going on these days, so I'm going to address it and possibly give some of you a bloody nose. MEN - Let's talk about what we are not talking about. Those who claim to be Chrisians, followers of Christ, husbands and fathers who have allowed hateful, cruel, and worthless things to come out of your mouth. Destroying the very ones you were created to protect and cherish. Shut the hell up! There is no excuse for your behaviour, your lack of self control, your filthy cowardess self righteousness. Giving place to the devil by stabbing your own flesh and blood. Assaulting your wife, sons, and daughters with arrogance and pride and sickness of self. The ungodly treat their families with more gentleness and compassion than you.
