THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM
The FEAR of GOD is the beginning of wisdom. (Psalm 111:10) Could loving God be to fear God? Jesus said, "If you love me you will keep my commands." In Ecclesiastes 8:12-13 "...yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that Fear God, which fear before him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he Feareth not before God." "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this is the whole duty of man." Ecclesiastes 12:13 Godly Fear is obedience that honors the one in command. Complete trust is full reliance upon love. It seems as though we may not realize in this busy world of non-stop, endless lists of things to do...we are forgetting to obey His Word.
