BLIND AS A BAT
It is true that--- "He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that hath sent me, hath eternal life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24 I believe it is also true that you can have faith in God's word and still be blind as a bat, if you do not make an effort to search out the promises of God. This passage below has specific ingredients on how NOT to be ineffective and unfruitful. We really have to make sure we are not just reading something and agreeing with it, but then continuing on as if we had never read it. GIVE CAREFUL DILIGENCE TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. YOUR DEVOTION AND COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE LORD MUST NOT BECOME LAZY AND HALF-HEARTED...we do this in our human relationships and things crumble, fall apart, and become non-existant.
