WHAT'S YOUR EMERGENCY?
Going home the other night I was following behind someone who was bucking and weaving all over the road, bobbing their head, and who swerved over into on-coming traffic repeatedly. At first, I just layed on the horn in hopes of waking them from their evening nap behind the wheel, thinking maybe the person had fallen asleep. It kept happening over and over until I finally called the police to report possible drunk driving. Last week I was at my brother's softball game and heard a couple of gunshots, watched people run and scatter behind where I was sitting. Then there were a few more shots fired. The people around me just talked about what they were hearing and seeing. I went ahead and walked in the direction of the shots that I had heard, to make sure someone had not been shot and left for dead. Brought my phone with me and made the call for back up.
