ALL EYES ON THE KING

Let's keep encouraging and challenging one another to consider the truth and to examine ourselves. Time is short. Eternity is certain. The King's return is soon. Many think themselves to be a Christian, claiming to be a follower of Christ, but they do not acknowledge Him as God or obey His words. They have not truly made Him Lord. If someone is your lord, He is your master. A master's will is sovereign. If you are a servant you cease from doing your own will and you do the will of the one whom you serve. Those who are lord of their own lives continue to rely on their own understanding, the advice of others, and are easily swayed by every wind of doctrine. Some depend on the latest religious books to give them a feeling of godliness, sense of security or well-being. The god that they know is one that they have made up...one that is convenient and imaginary. After all, if we really did believe in a living God existing - He might require truth in our innermost parts. (Psalm 51
