Attending festivals and catering to the worldliness of his day and age. He most likely was not concerned that he would offend those who serve false gods, by being true and holding fast to His confession of faith that was accompanied by his deeds that were done in righteousness. "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." I John 2:15 Be more concerned with offending the heart of the One who spilled His blood for you, than busying yourself trying to fit in with the world and its traditions.
