Galatians 6:7 BE NOT DECEIVED; GOD IS NOT MOCKED: FOR WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH, THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP. Where are you going? What are you listening too? What are you saying? What are others saying to you? Each person is the product of all that they have seen and heard and felt. Be not deceived. DON'T BELIEVE A LIE. Are we sowing to the flesh? The next verse says that we will reap corruption. (Read Galatians 5:16, 17) If we live a sensual lifestyle, rebelling against the truth, acting out what we have learned of ungodly. If I listen to things that are ungodly, go places that are ungodly. I am sowing to the flesh. I am feeding it. We will be hungry for what we feed ourselves. If we watch dirty movies...we will want to watch more dirty movies. If we dress in such a way to get people's attention, we will continue to do feel the need to do that. To All those who call themselves by Jesus’ name: Thought I would share an old favorite song from time to time that reminds me of the answers to most all of life’s difficulties. LOVE LIFTED ME…When nothing else could help, LOVE LIFTED ME. God is the God who speaks. He has spoken. When we wrong our fellow man, we wrong the Lord. When we speak ill of another we allow our mouths to be used to speak a curse and not blessing. When we continue on in our ‘own ways,’ we disregard the Lord’s commands to LOVE ONE ANOTHER even as Christ has loved us. How can we obey God’s word if we do not know what He says? Meditate on the Word day and night. There is a blessing waiting to meet you.   Hide God’s word in your heart so that you are ready to endure, one day at a time. Why not SEE WHAT HE HAS IN STORE FOR YOU? Why not CHOOSE TO MAKE A CHANGE TODAY? Why not PICK SOMEONE to lavish them with love? Why not LOVE THEM LIKE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE LOVED. Why not TAKE IT TO THE ENEMY BY LETTING GO OF PAST HURTS? Why not TAKE A CHANCE AND FIND THE FREEDOM YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ALL ALONG...the answers are hidden in Christ Jesus. Why not PUT DOWN YOUR CRITICAL THINKING FOR A DAY and RISE UP ON THE INSIDE AND LET FORGIVENESS UNLOCK YOUR HEART and SET OTHERS FREE? Why Not ASK FOR UNDERSTANDING? ASK FOR WISDOM? Sunshine. Dirt. Everyday we sow seeds by the words of our mouths. Day by day. Confession after confession. The seeds are sprouting, our words are coming to pass, they are coming up. The things my Mom planted in each of us children, they are coming up.  The prayers she prayed, are coming to pass. How she earnestly interceded for her babies, to be helped, to be held by Jesus, to be directed by His leading, to take hold of His hand and to never let Him go. Since we were young she spoke of the hope we have in Jesus. She believed in His power. She cherished His every word of life. She was the sower, we are the seeds. We are coming up. We are sprouting. We are watered by the Word. We are grounded in the...

Daniel our second eldest son was studying the Greeks in history. He was telling me how they got so good at math they started to worship it and when that happened they never got any better as they only thought they could get to a certain point. Would that describe modern worship? Now without heading in all sorts of directions with this I want to mention one area. We approach God through our ability and methods. But how would it be if we just WERE. Let me explain a little we worship the great I AM the bible says and in my limited sphere of understanding I am starting to know that if I am in the great I AM then I must just BE. If I am trying to be, trying to achieve, or trying to please then in reality, anything or any place I am trying to be or get to is based more in me than in the great I AM. I hear someone say so what we sit on our sofa and BE and in response I would suggest you remove yourself from getting my emails I am only going to aggravate you. What I am trying to express...

A simple little THANK YOU. So powerful. Any creature with a heart responds to praise. Conditions of the heart are healed with praise. With a little acknowledgement of what someone might be going through, a little bit of caring and kindness...never know who you might have just rescued. Think about you...how do you feel when someone bothers to ask you how you are doing? Immediately your level of confidence rises or falls depending on the persons level of genuine interest or concern. We are called to build up the body. How do you build up the body? Many different ways. Words are one way.  Use your words to speak life and to heal and to nourish those around you. HE WHO BRINGS AN OFFERING OF PRAISE and THANKSGIVING honors and glorified ME; and he who orders his way aright, to him I will demonstrate the salvation of GOD. Psalm 50:23

Desiring the simple life? Do not take your eyes off Jesus. You cannot run a race if you're eyes are not looking straight ahead. How do you keep your eyes looking straight ahead? Open your Bible. Read. Think. Remember. Do what it says. Prepare to be amazed.
