ONE WAY UP

From darkness to light this is the time to speak the truth and to be unashamed of the ANCIENT OF DAYS. Every knee will bow and every nation, tribe, and tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD of all.

In answer to my causin Sean's question about what Pat Robertson said --- I have copied and pasted below (scroll down)what history I could find and the links from the archived information. I personally read the history of Haiti from 1600's up until 1946. Though Pat Robertson might have irritated the majority by the statement he made, I would like to point out the fact that he is still sending mega funds, and doing a great deal for disaster relief for those in that particular area.

Could we possibly be missing the point? ALL have sinned. All are without excuse. Jesus died for ALL while we were yet in our sins. All who continue to practice ungodliness and willingly participate in unrighteousness by not turning from their own ways and failing to acknowledge and love the truth will experience alot more than technical difficulities. It does not matter where you live.

There is only one way up and it's about time our hearts be broken over the lost and dying world around us. If you are going to examine anything it needs to be yourself. Focus your energy and strength on laying down your life and being rid of pride and arrogance and the very things God hates. Get serious enough to take some action and start packing for the journey. There are souls waiting to be turned back from the gates of hell, bodies that are under rubble, people that are desperately in need of living water and the bread of life... the Kingdom of God that's inside you. Stop piddling around and pray. Make up your mind to do the will of God and do it now! Now and not later.

Job 33:14,27,28 GOD SPEAKS ONE WAY AND YET ANOTHER, THOUGH MAN MAY NOT PERCEIVE IT. HE LOOKETH UPON MEN, AND IF ANY SAY, I HAVE SINNED, AND PERVERTED THAT WHICH WAS RIGHT, AND IT PROFITED ME NOT; HE WILL DELIVER HIS SOUL FROM GOING INTO THE PIT, AND HIS LIFE SHALL SEE THE LIGHT.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God's power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,

For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.

For God's [holy] wrath and indignation are revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who in their wickedness repress and hinder the truth and make it inoperative.

For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them.

For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification],

Because when they knew and recognized Him as God, they did not honor and glorify Him as God or give Him thanks. But instead they became futile and godless in their thinking [with vain imaginings, foolish reasoning, and stupid speculations] and their senseless minds were darkened. (Romans 1:16-21)

"The most historically important Vodou ceremony in Haitian history was the Bwa Kayiman or Bois Caïman ceremony of August 1791 that began the Haitian Revolution, in which the spirit Ezili Dantor possessed a priestess and received a black pig as an offering, and all those present pledged themselves to the fight for freedom. This ceremony ultimately resulted in the liberation of the Haitian people from French colonial rule in 1804, and the establishment of the first black people's republic in the history of the world and the second independent nation in the Americas." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haitian_Vodou

"Many Haitians say Vodou inspired slaves to revolt against their French colonial masters." http://www.rickross.com/reference/general/general168.html
