IF GOD BE FOR US
So thankful to God for my friends and family that encourage me to eat right and make wise decisions based off of scientific studies and trial and error. Very thankful for the people who have given me material to consider, videos to watch, and products to try (whole food based nutrients). In all of this I have seen such dedication. Even in this I think we could all stand to be challenged to make certain that we are looking always only to the source of our life and breath. He alone is able to take down and raise up. He alone turns water to wine. He alone provides the wine and the bread. He is still speaking, "PEACE, BE STILL" in the midst of the storms of our lives.
There is only one person who has made me an offer I cannot refuse. There is only one that has gone the distance and paid the price. Only one that has gone through hell to rescue me and redeem my life. Only one that does not shrink back and speaks the truth to his own hurt. Though He has gone to prepare a place for me, He has not left me comfortless. He has promised and He will fulfill. He has spoken and it will be so.
His glory will not be given or shared with another. There is no thing that is greater than the Word made flesh. No method, no counsel, no plan of action, no formula, no product, no knowledge or insight. No thing in all the world can seperate me from His love. I could never do enough or be enough or save enough or eat enough or know enough or read enough or anything enough to satisfy the world's recipe for success or (according to the world's standards) that will save me or heal me or keep me alive.
If we spent half the time we spend on 'other' things (including promoting lifestyle changes and products and formulas and religious talk and airing our opinions based on very little application of the living word), but instead decided to realize our utter helplessness without His help and turn ourselves to completely being immersed in the Word of God...the results would be Proverbs 4 ...life to those who find it, health and healing to all our flesh.
As long as we live on this earth there will be new discoveries, difficulties to pass through, and more decisions that we have to make, but I pray we all consider how much time we spend on other things besides giving our time, attention, focus, and affections to the one who deserves it all and who keeps our soul in life and in death. Are we dedicating more devotion and loyalty to our King than all these other things?
In the end nothing else will matter, but that we loved Him with all that we are and loved others as we love ourselves. IF GOD BE FOR US -
