PLEASE

So you dream of the day, the time, the opportunity, and then there it is...there you are... in the middle of what seemed to be so far off.  Your requests have been granted. Your dreams have come true. Now what do you do?

Smile and ponder the possiblities of what might be if you do whatever it takes to live life on purpose from this day forward.  Do things differently.  Stop making excuses.  Ask God for help to follow through with what you know you should do. 

Measure everything by love.  Not how much someone should or could love you, but how much you can love others whether they ever choose to love you in return or not.  Do not slack off.  Be diligent.  Persevere.  Look up.  Overcome.  Be thankful.  Wake up from the busy blur and learn how to really rest. You might find that you have lost what has been holding you back for so long... self consciousness.

The more you retain the knowledge of the truth in your mind, the less you will want to live to please yourself.  If you are determined to obey the truth, you will.  It is impossible to spend too much time reading God's word, praying, and listening.  How else will you be prepared for whatever might come in the days ahead? Please stop delaying what you know you should do.  Life will go on.  Do not have regrets.

For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me. "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus. (Romans 15:3-5)

TIME DEVOTED

When all the noise and chaos stops, then what do you got? When you cease to live for the approval of others and are no longer in competition with the best of them... suddenly you've got more time on your hands. It seems it is always a good time to reflect, review, and acknowledge what could be stealing precious time and resources and keeping us from being devoted to who and what really matters.                                                    The WORD of GOD and PRAYER. “The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. (Isaiah 41:17) IF WE WOULD DARE TO ADMIT IT, we are the poor and needy. We all need prayer and immediate assistance and direction and help even just to call on the name of Jesus, or pick up His Word daily. Pray for me to spend time as I should, not neglecting the little things.

HINDSIGHT 2020

I can see clearly now the rain is gone...and HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE ... I am slowly but surely getting there. I have not been in any position to write updates like I would have liked too. That's ok. I am embracing some new normals and thanking God for every drop of mercy and grace and going forward that is happening. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
