WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

You want to grow and be more mature? Go through difficulties. Embrace hardship. Press in and press on and do not be easily discouraged. You want to be Christlike and do what Jesus would do? Be still and know that He is God. Stop saying what you will and won't do. Humble thyself in the sight of the Lord and HE will lift you up. Be willing to do whatever it takes to stop focusing on your own needs and circumstances. Look around you and find someone who needs a friend, a listening ear, or someone to help them carry their load... give all you can and expect nothing in return, not even a 'thank you.'

If someone has wronged you, do not point it out. Forgive them. Let it go. "The mercy you don't give is the mercy you don't get." God's mercy triumphs over judgement. His kindness leads to repentance. Get rid of any attitudes or perceptions that keep you from walking in agreement with the law of love. . . compassion, self control, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

“But, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.” II Corinthians 10:17-18

What are you waiting for? One step at a time. One day at a time. Determine in your heart to love the Lord and obey Him with your strength, your words, your actions, your dealings with others.
