NO THING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD
Static on the line...technical difficulties...you're breaking up? Time to walk away or time to pray? Time to quit or time to decide quiting is not an option? It takes two. You and God. It's decision time.
Truth is this life is short. Just a glimpse compared to all of eternity. Where are you right now? Do not seek to be free of your circumstances. There is a time for everything under heaven. If you are in a relationship do not seek to be out of it. If you are not in one do not seek to be in one.
FEAR GOD and KEEP HIS COMMANDS this is the whole duty of a man. To fear God is to hate evil. To keep His commands is to love. Love does not think of itself. It does not point out the faults of others, especially that of a spouse. The two have become one. When you speak ill of your husband or wife you are speaking ill of your very self.
Talk about love growing cold... you cannot say that you love God when you do not truly love your sister or brother (husband or wife, siblings, or parents). Strife can come because one or both people in a relationship are unwilling to hear and do the Word of God. (I Peter 3)
All who are seeking to live for the glory of God --- Troubles will come, persecution will come, and times that might feel like you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but take heart, God is with you. Remember your covenant promise, remember your vows, remember that love is a choice hour by hour and day after day. May God give you wisdom on how to communicate and how to stand firm and do all things as unto Him. May He lead you and guide you with His strong arms to the place you need to be in your understanding and I pray you see your pain through heaven's eyes. Do what is best for the other person. You said "I DO" til death do you part. In sickness and in health. For as long as we both shall live.
God is able to raise a person up or to humble them. Leave your technical difficulties in His hands and begin to ask God how you can forgive even as He has forgiven you. Be still and know that HE is God and He is able to make all grace abound towards you. He turns things around and works things out for His glory and for your good. We all have to get to a point that there is nowhere else to go and nothing else we can do before we lift our hands to heaven and admit THERE IS NO ONE ELSE. There is only One who can save us from ourselves and from our self made hells. Weakness turns to strength when we abide and remain IN HIM. Nothing is impossible with God.
So do not give up on your marriage! God hates divorce. Let that thought be a motivation to stay the narrow path. I pray the Lord will be glorified in you and your choices at this moment and in the days ahead.
