R E S P E C T H I M

Women who fear the Lord speak right and worthy things. Bless and do not curse. Build up and do not tear down. You are to be a refuge of rest for him, a refreshment, doing him good and not evil all the days of your life.

How priviledge I am to have friends that speak praise of the head of their household. How worthy to give thanks and praise for what God has so graciously given. Praise is fitting and right and glorifies the Lord.

Weeks ago I was visiting with a husband and wife who greatly reverenced one another. Who clearly had an understanding that as they treat one another, so they intreat the Lord God Almighty. 

A few days ago again in another conversation with a different friend, I was exceedingly thrilled to hear my friend thanking God for her husband who is her true friend. She tried to describe how wonderful he is and how much she loves who he is and how he is.

I wonder how many spouses murmur, complain, badmouth, and disrespect their husbands thinking that this has nothing to do with their relationship with God? Do you want to see the Kingdom of God come in your house? In your family? In your own life and relationships? REPENT! Ask God to give you understanding in how to confess your sins and receive His forgiveness. So that you can be free from yourself and your self-made hells.

REPENT! It's never too late to give God your all. Stop manipulating, controlling, and start living love, give up control and let the Lord show you how to yield to him, be obedient, and respect your husband! The Word of God instructs the wife to respect her husband, and it never says if you think he deserves it or earns it or you think he's capable or worthy. Alot less thinking about you and alot more thinking about him is how that is going to be accomplished. You can do all things through Christ who is your strength!

TIME DEVOTED

When all the noise and chaos stops, then what do you got? When you cease to live for the approval of others and are no longer in competition with the best of them... suddenly you've got more time on your hands. It seems it is always a good time to reflect, review, and acknowledge what could be stealing precious time and resources and keeping us from being devoted to who and what really matters.                                                    The WORD of GOD and PRAYER. “The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. (Isaiah 41:17) IF WE WOULD DARE TO ADMIT IT, we are the poor and needy. We all need prayer and immediate assistance and direction and help even just to call on the name of Jesus, or pick up His Word daily. Pray for me to spend time as I should, not neglecting the little things.

HINDSIGHT 2020

I can see clearly now the rain is gone...and HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE ... I am slowly but surely getting there. I have not been in any position to write updates like I would have liked too. That's ok. I am embracing some new normals and thanking God for every drop of mercy and grace and going forward that is happening. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
