RED FLAG ON THE BEACH
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent..." Acts 17:30
A few days ago I walked on the beach and took some pictures of the oil debris that was washing up on shore. The thoughts that were coming to my mind is: This is out-of-control and uncontainable without the Lord's help, we are helpless. Then Acts 17:30 came to mind. REPENT. ALL MEN EVERYWHERE. REPENT. Throughout the scriptures people willfully sinned and consequences happened, when the people repented their deliverance would come.
On the beach today looking at the orange shirts that say COMMUNITY RESPONDERS. Thinking about what would happen if each individual responded to the difficulties in their local community with as much effort and prayer support as possible.
Those people are roasting out there on the beach in full gear, walking around with brooms, garbage bags, and dust pans. Gathering up what's being washed up on shore.
Something's off when people are waiting around for somebody from somewhere else to do something about the situations at hand. Everybody can do something. Each of us have a mind of our own and the ability to serve and make a world of difference no matter how small our effort. First things first, let us pray, let us repent, and live out II Chronicles 7:14..."and God will heal our land."
JUST WONDERING but what do you think the dangers are for all the people (young and old) out on the beach, swimming, and playing on the shore and in the water...when the hired Community Responders are in full gear, even boots, and gloves. ?? Does anyone think that is strange ?? The waves are leaving a thin dark line on the shore, crabs and fish are dying, and even though the water looks mostly clear from over here...the oil still sticks to the bottom of your feet and most likely anything it touches. Maybe it's not the wisest thing to bath in it and let your babies get spashed in the face by the waves eh. Just saying...
