DO SOMETHING
Do you realize that as you judge, so you will be judge according to that very same measure? Suggestion: Leave room for the judgement of God, and do not assume His standard is inline with yours. I promise you, it is HIGHER.
The fruit of the Spirit is not a short fuse, rude behaviour, sarcastic remarks, rolling your eyes, and considering the rest of the human race beneath you. Even if you are attending a modern-well organized-hyper spiritual church, if you are acting like TWICE THE SON OF HELL... may God open your blind eyes to see you need to repent while there is still time. Stop being harsh with your wife! According to the Word of God, your prayers are hindered. Not to mention look what you are teaching others.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This applies to every area of your life. Forget about your ministry! You do not have a ministry if you do not have a genuine relationship with your Heavenly Father. If you are being critical, complaining, and negative towards others around you... maybe you should examine yourself to see if you are still in the faith. Seriously. Get some RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, and JOY in the HOLY SPIRIT. Discontinue listening to the voices in your head that promote treating people like garbage. IF THE KINGDOM OF GOD is inside you THEN ACT LIKE IT!
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.
The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.
So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away. Then God will give you a grand entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. II Peter 1
May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. Please realize you and I both need to DO something about our love for God, sincerely, deeply love others.
