SCREAMING INSIDE
EXCEPT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD we would all continue on in our blindness to the obvious. Thank God for true friends who will challenge us to hold up our lives to the light of God's pure word. Love rebukes and chastens...
Reality check. What is it going to take to wake up to the truth? To stop being prentenders, fakes, liars. What good do you think comes from 'acting' like everything is alright, when in truth it is not? Can you call yourself a lover of God, if you do not do what pleases Him? Plastic people wear counterfeit smiles and all the while ignore the very things that need to be dealt with. I caution you to realize you need to be questioning yourself and your motives, because if you do not--- you will cause others to stumble and fall into a ditch. Why would you attend classes and bible studies, hide behind "the ministry," but then inwardly and to those closest to you behave like doctor insano? All the while you are not talking to certain persons (holding something against them) for various reasons (offenses). Meanwhile, personally, you are barely hanging on, entertaining thoughts of suicide, inwardly annoyed and disguisted at those around you. Prideful, bitter, jealous, depressed, and hateful if the truth were known.
It is high time we stop tolerating this demon-like behaviour. I am not talking about pointing out others faults. I am talking about self-examination. Judging yourself. (II Corinthians 5:9-10) Not making room for it by excusing it as a personality conflict, reasoning your way through, or justifying why it is ok. Doing so will only serve darkness and support deception. Ugly, selfish, inconsiderate, back-biting, bitter, mistrusting, accusing...
"But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another. NOW THE WORKS OF THE FLESH ARE OBVIOUS, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have in time past, that they which do such things SHALL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD." Galatians 5:15, 19-21
You are responsible for what you allow. Do not blame anyone else for your reactions or responses. Insecurities are not a legitimate excuse anymore according to the scriptures. None of us are perfect, but we should not use the grace of God as a license to sin either. If you allow yourself to scream and moan, complain and murmer, find fault, scowl and self pity --- no need to state the obvious, but your are holding hands with the enemy. You are allowing satan permission to devour and destroy through you. STOP IT! In JESUS name.
