BRING IT ON!!

BRING ON THE PAIN. BRING ON THE SUFFERING. BRING IT ON! TASTE THE TRUTH and RELY ON THE STRENGTH THAT IS BIGGER THAN YOU. We were made to weather alot more than we realize. If we would dare to feel what we feel and just be real, and quit working over-time trying to relieve ourselves from daily pain or discomfort. Stop making it our goal to create such comfortable lives, discontinue our self-diagnosis, and worldly prescriptions that serve to numb us from reality. Pain and suffering are part of the journey on this path to life. Let's take God's word for it. (I Peter 3:14-17, 4:12-19 Romans 8:17-18 Hebrews 11:25-34)

My Friend and I were reflecting upon the highly medicated society we live in. We both agreed that if we never went outside, we too might be tempted to resort to taking medication. Does it seem that the longer you are inside the less of a desire you have to live and move, while the need for entertainment grows stronger and stronger? (Indoors is the world that a person creates for themselves, sometimes superficial environment...that can cause sickness and depression. I'm not saying it's wrong to be inside your house, but go outside sometime and look at what God has made. Realize life is bigger than the small world inside your houses and malls.) My friend also mentioned how good it feels to lay in the grass. I agree. Just lay there and breathe in the goodness of God and adore the vast expanse of His amazing handy work. Whenever I see trees or woods I just want to go walking or running to find trails and look around, exploring to see what I have not seen before.

I suppose I wonder if alot of the health issues (mentally and physically) these days are not contributed to a lack of exercising the body and mind. We were made to LIVE and MOVE and HAVE OUR BEING (IN HIM). We were created to live and move...to run, to dance, to sing, to jump, to climb, to swim, to laugh and cry, to be fruitful and multiply. All these things exert energy and promote chemical balance in our minds and bodies. C'mon people!! Walk barefoot in the wet grass, get a little mud on you, dig your hands in the dirt. Go for a walk on a stormy night. Let your hair get blown to bits in the wind...and know that those winds come from the storehouses of God. Dive into some cold water and splash around. You can be sure that God has created all these things for you to enjoy. He enjoys you enjoying what He has made.

Nature...the works of God's hands have some incredible healing qualities. Do you agree? Well, you are the works of God's hands, and would you also agree that God has used you to bring healing to the lives of others? You may not realize it, but others just by being around you can receive healing and restoration from the Lord. "...THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU." Luke 17:21
