A true child of God is done playing games. They take obedience seriously by not taking pleasure in wickedness, but delighting in the truth. They certainly do not see how close to the line of good and evil they can get. Instead they cling to what is good and depart quickly from evil. Developing courage by facing each situation as it arises. Depending on Him who knows all things to reveal truth and give right understanding and direction. It is true that--- "He that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that hath sent me, hath eternal life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." John 5:24 I believe it is also true that you can have faith in God's word and still be blind as a bat, if you do not make an effort to search out the promises of God. We really have to make sure we are not just reading something and agreeing with it, but then continuing on as if we had never read it. GIVE CAREFUL DILIGENCE TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. You have those days you need to fall apart, to lean against His heart and wait. God knows you are falling down, wanting to be free of every doubt. Just keep waiting. Healing will come. So it's okay to say how you are really doing. I mean what would you do if you stopped putting on a show? Then everybody would know that everything is not alright. No need to think you are being negative just because you are being truthful. I am especially talking to the married folks out there that are having a difficult time living with themselves or their spouse. Giving up is not an option. Take your eyes off yourself so that you can continue to love like you promised to. To those who are not married yet, but are contemplating the possibilities and are involved in an unhealthy relationship or an ungodly relationship. I suggest you take a walk, a long one. "FOR OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE." Hebrews 12:29 What's left after a consuming fire? Everything in it's path is touched and changed and tried. What once was, is no more. What remains is dust, ashes, and some embers. Is it possible to know God and not be changed? Consuming Fire is very hot and will melt and transform anything within close range. Are you drawing near to God or are you keeping your distance? Some people either do not realize their need to change or quite simple just do not want to...so they stay away from the fire...they keep their distance from God.
