LIVE LOVE

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God , The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever...He is wonderful! He is the counsellor that we need. He is THE MIGHTY GOD! The Lord is a Warrior ever making intercession for us. God help us to be more like Jesus in the every day coming and goings and lives of those around us. Wonderful shoulders alot for us, like the weight of the world. He is worthy of ALL our attention and affections and devotion. May GOD'S people commit themselves to prayer.

Of all the ways to say, "I love you" communication is most effective. Communication is not always in words. Sometimes actions can communicate what words never could. Take JESUS for example. He lived love. He did not have to say, I love you. People knew it and clung to Him. The whole city came out to meet him. True love draws a crowd eh? They wanted to hear what He (love) had to say. They knew that He (love) would not leave them in their poverty and sickness, He came to set them free. To give them all He had (The Kingdom of God)...love...a better way. I think we all have been blessed coming Sept 26th with an excellent tool to promote unity in the Body of Christ - one marriage at a time. I pray that husbands and wives all over the world are challenged to evaluate the reality of their own situations. Not wishing their problems away, not regretting the commitment they have made, not taking an attitude of throwing this one out and starting all over again, but seriously realizing the truth and condition of their own heart and life. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GIVE SOMEONE SOMETHING THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE... (Reference I Corinthians 13 to study what love is.) If you have love you can endure anything. Be healed in Jesus name from your unwillingness to defend and protect and fulfill the promises you have made. Give what you want to receive every day of your life to your friend.

I am thankful to be able to share this little blurb from one of Charles Finney's books, Crystal Christianity. "An individual can never know the true state of his heart unless he is active in the Church. [I am almost convinced that Sir Charles was pointing out the bankrupt state of the individual who thinks "finding the right church and becoming a member" has something more to do with God's perfect will than seeking to please God in whatever circumstance he may find himself]. Hebrews 10:22 What assurance do you have? Who can convince you that what you believe is imaginery? If we have full assurance of faith then we are full...no room for indicisiveness and not knowing or confusion or plunderings and possibilities. No Sir. Fully Pursuaded of God's Word and not wishy washy, kinda sorta, well maybe if. If you are unsure you better break open the HOLY BIBLE and remind yourself just who you are and fill yourself full of the truth so that there is no room for fear and unbelief. This rock is what I found on the ground in Alaska as I walked and prayed for those I love. Reminding me that the One I pray to hears, knows, and loves me through every thing. There is so much to weather in life these days---Good thing we have hope. Hope that causes us to exercise our faith by living love. Love is the heart of our Father who faithfully warns His children of the things that are to come. Letter upon letter the scriptures are filled with warnings and exhortations of what to look for and how not to put our hope in the temporary things that we can see, because it is collapsing and falling apart, and will soon be no more. Just look at the economy. Father knows best. He sees what we cannot and so he does not leave us in the dark. He encourages us to cling to the eternal truth and not let temporary things be the treasure of our hearts, the god of our lives, or what we invest our time and strength into. He is fully aware of what the outcome is going to be. He knows a whole lot...
