SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

But Jesus said, Leave the children alone! Allow the little ones to come unto me, and do not forbid them, for SUCH IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. (Matthew 19:14) My friend Jada just turned four years old a few days ago. I remembered a day after her birthday to call her. Very forgiving that I missed her special day she said, "Are you coming over? Come Quickly! I am about to go to bed. If we are not home when you get there, just wait by the door." She is confident that I am on my way to her. What she did not know is that I was at least eight hours (driving time) away, and was not planning on coming back for at least a few more days. True Friends have a way of letting you know they love you by communicating their heart even when time is short and they may not have all the details. As a child, I remember thinking about my True Friend coming for me. As an adult, I am just as confident in knowing He is on His way to me...even now. Matthew 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, un...

ASK DAD

"ASK YE OF THE LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the Lord shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field." Zechariah 10:1 What have you asked God for today? I pray we would see how vital communication is in the process of sowing and reaping. Every time we ask and receive it adds to the testimony of God's faithfulness in this earth. I could imagine there is so much more that God longs to give His little ones, but we never bother asking. I do recall in my early childhood an ocassion of times of interactions with my dad that I would come to ask him something, his response would be: "What do you want now?" As God has fathered me and healed my understanding. He reminds me his response will always be: "Come to me...ask and you shall receive...it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom." I am very glad to remind others, "Ask Dad..." He delights in those who hope in His mercy....

GET THE PICTURE

"HERALD and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable." II Timothy 4:2 Some days it might seem that we are lost in a fog. Praying for some understanding. Do not allow yourself to give way to fear. Pray and then expect an answer to come. It will come. Do not panic if you do not receive immediate understanding. It sure helps to focus on one thing while you wait. The world will GET THE PICTURE as they observe something in you that is not of this world. Because you have the wisdom that is from above, the peace that surpasses understanding...You are content with little or content with much. Thankful. Always seeking to serve rather than to be served. Preach the word of God by the way you live, by your very existence. Let your life be an urgent message to all --- it is time to wake up and live the truth!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

I Thessalonians 5:14,15 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Jude 1:21-25 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

DEEPER STILL

DEEPER STILL End of 2007 Watch the sunrise. Sing a song of hope for a stranger. Pray for your family. Pray with a friend. Wake up early. Stay up late. Wait for a change. Invest your time in the hearts of those around you great or small. Plant a seed. Take a walk alone. Really listen. Do not think so much. Maybe consider how you could be more considerate. Give what you have away. Speak a word of encouragement. Be still for longer than 10 minutes and reflect. Thank God for His Word. Thank God for what has been, what is, and what will be. Expect the unexpected. FATHER: Faithful to me always, ever mindful of my ways. Lead me into this time of reflection, THANKS, and praise. Allow me to recite my lines for You, my King. Please let these words written be straight from Your heart to the hearts of Your own. Let our expectation be of You. May Your name be glorified in all the earth. In Jesus name. Amen. My Dearest Brothers and Sisters - This year has been full of so much. Mostly just a setting ...
