IN A RELATIONSHIP
There is never an in between is there? We pretend like there is, but the truth will always be one of two choices. Hot or cold. Light or darkness. Truth or lie. Everybody says they love God, but their lives tell the true story of what it is they believe. Many are deceived.
Real relationships and true friendship is serious stuff. There is no maybe involved. It's not what you make it. The outcome of your relationship with God or another person is a simple choice. It will always consist of what you have or have not invested. It takes time to know someone.
There is a scripture passage that first drew me to reality when I was eighteen years old. "IN THAT DAY YOU WILL SAY TO ME: LORD, LORD I did this in your name and did that and I will say unto you DEPART FROM ME WORKER OF INIQUITY I NEVER KNEW YOU." He's saying this to someone who thinks they know Him. They are even doing things in His name. Hmm crazy huh? Sounds like a Christian, looks like a Christian, but when the light of truth shines it reveals every hidden thing, every deception is exposed. Either or. We are in a relationship with the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, or we are not in a relationship with Him. I know when I'm in a relationship really and when I'm really not, and so do you.
You might want to be sure before you step off into eternity. Believe me, it can happen when you least expect it. Stop playing games. If you earnestly are not sure, get sure. Ask God to help you to know the difference.
IF WE HAVE FORGOTTEN THE NAME OF OUR GOD, OR STRETCHED OUT OUR HANDS TO A STRANGE GOD; SHALL NOT GOD SEARCH THIS OUT? FOR HE KNOWETH THE SECRETS OF THE HEART. (Psalm 44:20-21)

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (I Peter 4:17)
