LOUD AND CLEAR
So you ever wonder why your prayers are not answered? Or does it seem that maybe God is not hearing you? What could possibly be wrong? Afterall, doesn't God love us all and isn't he there to give us whatever we want, whenever we want, no matter what?
Maybe according to the world's religious standards, but the one true living God is not what you make him out to be. He cannot be controlled. He can be pleased. He can be sad and sorrowful and hurt. He can be loved and honored and cherished. So what could be preventing your answers from coming? (in the event that you do pray)
"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me..." Psalm 66:18
"For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths."
Proverbs 5:21
"When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:77
News from the motherland -- you cannot do whatever pleases you and think that God is okay with it. You can say you love God, but if you do not do what he says...the truth is not in you.
"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." I John 2:4-6
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment." I John 3:22-23
Hope you are hearing this LOUD AND CLEAR, and determining to take the action necessary to do what is pleasing in God's sight. Yes, he knows that you are human and imperfect, that's exactly why he sent His son Jesus to do what you could not do. He commands all men everywhere to REPENT and to call on his name. To take hold of His word and let it take hold of you.
