DANGER!

Signs. Warnings. What else does it take? A true friend warns if they see danger coming. The problem that we face today, is most of us have not read the manual, the instructions, the "how to" book. We know something's wrong, but we cannot quite seem to put our finger on it. And then if we do identify the problem, because we ourselves have not been doing as we should (doing those things that are pleasing in God's sight), condemnation has a way of keeping our mouths shut when it comes to confronting sin. Besides who wants to risk losing friends? DANGER! Get out of the way! Literally. You need to identify your own problem immediately, confess it, repent, and be healed. You need to be free and forgiven. Available for others and once you make sure that love is your motive, then open your mouth. Speak the Truth in Love. What are you afraid of? The fear of man will prove to be a trap. Fear God it is the beginning of knowledge and wisdom and right understanding. 1 Timothy 5:20...

LISTEN UP LADIES

Look to God's word to know your true worth. Do not entertain the serpent's voice in your mind by quesioning the commandments of God. Compromise never makes you wiser. Do not listen to the liar. The longer you skirt around an issue, or flirt with pride, the weaker your determination gets. Idle/idol thinking will lead you astray, to buying into the lie, just like eve did. ATTEND TO GOD'S WORD. Attend to, constantly pay attenion, do not forget it. Fast your thoughts for a day. What you normally let occcupy your mind, don't. Bring every thought into obedience, take it captive. You cannot afford to be absent minded. Stay your mind on Him, the Author and Finisher of your faith, perfect peace you will have. The fretting, worrying, wondering off, and self pre-occupation in your mind is not for The King's Daughter. The beauty of His Holiness and character is selfless love. Beside Him, there is no other. " The king's daughter is all glorious within ..." Psalm 4...

SOAKING

Over the last few years, I have heard the term "soaking" used in conversation relating to certain Christian gatherings. In this past year I have had a small handful of people ask me what I thought about it. Truthfully, my reply would be more like a question to their question. What do you think it's about? Where is it in the Bible? (and cannot help but smile) Wonder if Jesus had time for such things in a twenty four hour day after feeding the multitude, healing the sick, raising the dead? His clothes were probably 'soaking' in blood, sweat, and tears in the garden of gethsemane as he cried out to His Father, "NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE!" The actual word, soaking in the dictionary means fully emersed in liquid. To my knowledge the only thing we need to be absorbing or taking in is the pure Word of God. If you are not praising God and seeking to do His word in the secret place, in the privacy of your own home, then I am not sure what purpose it serves to...

MIGHTY MEN

Turn your eyes upon Jesus! Everything else that is clouding your thinking will fade away. Do not look at your circumstances. Do not be swayed by uncertainties. Do not allow your decisions to be determined by the things you can feel and see. God's word is gravity, it will never change. Cling to it. Do not be afraid to go under. To be wrestled to the ground by struggles. God Himself defends you and takes up your cause. He is in the darkness of the cloud, he makes them his dwelling place. You are not alone. God has promised He will be the glory and the lifter of your head. You will rise. Let go even if you do not know where you are going. Do not be afraid. He holds the future. He alone knows all things. Rest in His love. Live the words of this song, "I need to be still and let God love me. I need to relax and let God take over." Onward. Do not look back. There is work to be done. So many that have never seen an example of a true man. A man that is only lead by the Spirit of ...

BIGGER THAN WALLSTREET

Wallstreet hit a wall and it's called '$elf.' The arm of the fle$h is blind as a bat and I promise that $treet is not u$er friendly or $afe to travel on. The wall is blocking the view to the outside, keeps people locked in, and confused in their minds. A promise of progre$$ leading to a destination that smells like $elfmade hell. Those who have departed from the Living God, mixed up in their priorities with visions of $ugar plum$ dancing in their heads are promised a piece of the American dream. The Land of the free and the home of the brave has become a material prison to some who imagine life to be about their own happiness. Many have become a slave to their possessions and images of success and are driven by philosophy, vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. (Colossians 2:6-8) Others feel obligated that they "have to" work towards retirement, so they will have a safe cushion for their last years and som...

FORGET ME NOT

FORGET ME NOT is a brand of greeting cards, but it is also the instruction on how to FEAR GOD and DEPART FROM EVIL written over and over again in the book of Proverbs. A father encouraging his son to not forget what he says. To remember his words. To write them on his heart. Keep them ever before his eyes. Seek God and Live. BUT THE PATH OF THE JUST IS AS THE SHINING LIGHT, THAT SHINETH MORE AND MORE UNTO THE PERFECT DAY. MY SON, ATTEND TO MY WORDS; OPEN YOUR EARS TO WHAT I AM SAYING. LET THEM NOT DEPART FROM YOUR EYES; KEEP THEM IN THE VERY CENTER OF YOUR HEART. FOR THEY ARE LIFE UNTO THOSE THAT FIND THEM, AND HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH. KEEP YOUR HEART WITH ALL DILIGENCE; FOR OUT OF IT ARE THE ISSUES OF LIFE. PUT AWAY FROM YOU A STUBBORN MOUTH, AND DISOBEDIENT LIPS PUT FAR AWAY FROM YOU. LET YOUR EYES LOOK RIGHT ON, AND LET YOUR EYELIDS LOOK STRAIGHT BEFORE YOU. Proverbs 4:18-25
