Well I said I would post as soon as I could… Three years later. God has done so much in our lives brought us through so much, far to the other side of life and things and struggles difficulties. He’s a faithful father! shortly after I wrote the last blog I moved from the apartment complex to a fifth wheel at a horse boarding farm. We’ve been here three years in January it was the best movie ever made. There’s been so much room for growth, for learning, for taking time to raise my children and investing in our lives. Thankfully, Taking one day at a time and looking forward to what the Lord has in store.

SURVIVED SALLY SEPT 2020

Land sakes alive! What in the world?!! I have come to some new levels of thankfulness through each storm in life I have been allowed to pass through. I have recently cried because of lightening storms that lasted over a half hour with sideways rain and winds, but that was nothing compared to this one. Building shaking over and over, I live on the second floor of apartment building -- had me shedding some tears afterwards.  I was so scared during the event (possibly because I am responsible for two small lives) and extremely thankful to God when it was all over. If and when I can I will post some pictures at some point of what it looked like once the eye of the storm had passed right over us. Let's just say clean up is going to take a while. Some of my neighbors nextdoor, beneath me and beside me have been evicted...bc their apartments have been deemed "uninhabitable." We mananaged through a few days - well, almost a week without power, with nothing more than a little bit...

HINDSIGHT 2020

I can see clearly now the rain is gone...and HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE ... I am slowly but surely getting there. I have not been in any position to write updates like I would have liked too. That's ok. I am embracing some new normals and thanking God for every drop of mercy and grace and going forward that is happening. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

2019 BEGIN AGAIN OPEN ROAD

2019 came and went. Changes happened. I found myself again. Or I should say I found the me that I love and enjoy being. It is more than just a great name, Marcie Mayo. I respect and love her and I am proud of her and glad to see how much growth is taking place. It makes me smile to hear my name again. Real hugs are powerful. True friends are few and far away. Closed some chapters. Began some new ones. Thankful, so thankful for the OPEN ROAD before me and my precious little ones.

START OVER

It's been a long while since I have posted anything. Long story. Lots of stuff going on besides...moving and growing and feeling like I am failing and hoping and knowing I can overcome through Christ Jesus and His powerful word if only I will look up and call on His name. What can I say? We all get carried away -- overwhelmed with life and difficulties and problems and ourselves and distractions and with the pain of it all. Growing pains. Kind of where I've been. Time to START OVER with posting, when I can.

PASSING AWAY

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."  Matt 24:35 Passing away is a real thing. Every second of every day something or someone passes away. Our time will come as well - each one of us will pass away. Our comfort is the WORDS that will never pass away. The promise. The truth. The resurrection. The Life. He will wipe away all these tears from our eyes.

SACRED SERVICE

"For the Grace of God has come (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and the eternal salvation for all mankind.urge on another...to avoid foolishness and controversies that are leading to nowhere...be steadfast and patient in Christ..show yourself to be an example in all respects...submit...be obedient...have regard for truth...have self control..."  Titus 2 The words in Titus are like a parent who has left instruction behind concerning every matter in life. If these words could be read aloud at least once a day...maybe we would begin to live it out. There is so much urgency in these passages. If we would take heed and apply what is written in these verses as instruction from the Lord we would be found in faithful sacred service and true devotion to our God and King. We would be loving the brethren and separating ourselves from what is a lie and anything that does not represent the truth. If you continue to walk in your own ways...confusion and delusion is all that fol...

DNA UNDER ATTACK

When cells stop communicating in your body, dis-ease is present, your DNA is under attack, and eventually giving way to premature death if not corrected or remedied. When two people fail to communicate, all sorts of mal-nourishment is happening that leads to sickness and confusion that eventually makes way to the death of the relationship if not healed and corrected, not to mention the hurt and pain of others that are effected by two people's choices and decisions or lack thereof. Sometimes our immune systems are compromised due to lack of proper nutrients, not enough clean water to flush out toxins, or sometimes just plain and simple stress, and the lack of devotion to prayer can also cause our stress levels to go up and for everything to seem like it's overwhelming us. We must encourage and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. No matter what we are passing through. He can see us through to the other side. To be continued...

WHAT IS THE WORLD SEEING THANKS TO YOU?

"And ye shall be witnesses unto me." Acts 1:8 In order to learn how to discharge your duty as a witness for Christ, look at his example. He is always witnessing: by the well of Samaria, or in the Temple of Jerusalem: by the lake of Gennesaret, or on the mountain's brow. He is witnessing night and day; his mighty prayers are as vocal to God as his daily services. He witnesses under all circumstances; Scribes and Pharisees cannot shut his mouth; even before Pilate he witnesses a good confession. He witnesses so clearly, and distinctly that there is no mistake in him. Christian, make your life a clear testimony. Be you as the brook wherein you may see every stone at the bottom--not as the muddy creek, of which you only see the surface--but clear and transparent, so that your heart's love to God and man may be visible to all. You need not say, "I am true:" be true. Boast not of integrity, but be upright. So shall your testimony be such that men cannot help s...

HEALTHY HABITS

http://radio.focusonthefamily.ca/broadcasts/helping-kids-relate-in-a-screen-driven-world-part-1-of-2 Who does not need encouragement to stop being distracted and be all there when you are in the presence and company of others? All of us need reminders of setting good habits.

HE IS HIGHER

LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I... Psalm 62:1 This little verse offers so much hope in a world of continual disappointment and heartache. There is no one else higher, stronger, greater, or more sufficient than the LORD ALMIGHTY. A friend of mine reminded me today of something I had forgotten (even though I know it's true). Sometimes the best way and possibly the only way to be involved in someone's life is by prayer. Talking to the one who is higher than all of it. He has the greatest view. He knows exactly what's going on and He can handle it. Let's keep giving our cares to Him, bring your concerns, your worries and fears...lay it all down at the feet of the One who is GOOD NEWS. Go pick up His word and retrain your mind to believe, to have hope, to speak life, to love and forgive. And I will too. Lead us Lord, and please remind us we are not helpless when we know you.

EARLY IN THE MORNING

Thus saith the  Lord , thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the  Lord  thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  Isaiah 48:17 Always appreciated this verse. It is the Lord that "teaches thee to profit." And "He leadeth thee by the way that though shouldest go." Good to know. I do pray that we will all take time daily to listen and to learn and to ask the Lord to lead us and perceive what He is doing and where He would have us to go.  Early in the morning is a good time --- when everyone else is a sleep. Anytime is a good time to seek the Lord.

THINK ABOUT IT

Too many people are wasting too much time..

AWAKEN AND ARISE COME ALIVE TO CHRIST

A wise son heareth his father's instruction (Proverbs 13). Lord please help us to hear and list and do your word.

PONDERING THE POSSIBILITES

THOSE WHO SEEK THE LORD SHALL NOT LACK ANY GOOD THING.   Psalm: 34.10 Could it be said that those who do not seek the Lord shall lack any good thing? It is quite interesting when we start pondering the possibilities. I am encouraged to obey. Motivated to start seeking the Lord diligently once again. Stop allowing circumstances to dictate to me what I can and cannot do. I yield to you Father. Thank you for perfecting that which you have begun in me and in my friends.

II PETER 1

2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath for...

PREVAILING PEACE

There are times that I have so much going on that it really helps my mind to come back to the simple truth...the prevailing peace of God...by listening to the Word of God anyway that I can. Lately, I have been listening to www.intouch.org and it has been challenging me to remember and reflect and put into action what I know to be the truth. We must remind ourselves who we belong too. We are protected by the everlasting God who has covenanted with us (Isaiah 61-62), who claims us for his own. Do the first thing God told you to do. Obey Him all the way. Don't think so. Know so. What is God telling you to do? In what ways has He called you to trust Him? You would be amazed at the peace you have when you make Trusting the Lord your priority.
