PURE or VAIN RELIGION

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain (worthless). Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted (uncontaminated) from the world." James 1:26,27

What are you living for? JESUS? or a moment or an experience? Do you really know Him? Or do you attend gatherings where people say they know him? Do you go to Bible studies, church services, mission conferences, but then in your personal life you just do whatever and figure that you do enough stuff having to do with God and He's probably alright with it?

If you are married ---- do you think "going through the motions" is sufficient? Or would you prefer true love? Did you make a promise or were you just kidding? WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR LIFE IS SAYING TO OTHERS? Are you living for yourself? What actions are you taking to keep yourself from being polluted by the world?

"And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again." 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

DEAR CHILDREN OF GOD

As seasons change, anxieties creep in; doubts attempt to steal your peace, and cause you to second guess your decisions…slam the door on despair! Bride of Christ be aware and alert, ever watchful, remaining & abiding in Him. Open your ears, hear what the Spirit is saying to you. Do not entertain thoughts of accusations towards one another. Speak evil of no man. Realize who you are and the words of reconciliation that you have been entrusted with. (II Corinthians 5:17) Be reconciled one to another. Be reconciled to God. Reconcile all men unto God. Endeavor to keep the bond of peace. Forgive one another as God has forgiven you. Remember that He does not treat you as your sins deserve. That grace is not a excuse to keep on sinning, but merciful compassion that makes way for true repentance. HINDSIGHT 2020

I can see clearly now the rain is gone...and HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE ... I am slowly but surely getting there. I have not been in any position to write updates like I would have liked too. That's ok. I am embracing some new normals and thanking God for every drop of mercy and grace and going forward that is happening. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
