LIVE LOVE

I am currently reading through Practicing His Presence by Brother Lawrence and Brother Frank Laubach. It has been beyond inspiring to me. Encouraging all to do more than read God's word, to think His thoughts, and to keep your mind where it should be... At the moment I am finishing up chapter 8 that begins with this sentence: " We shall not become like Christ until we give Him more time . All that attempt to constantly abide in Him for a month know the power of it -- it is like being born again from center to circumference. It absolutely changes every person who does it."

Opening the scriptures when I was a child has literally saved my life as an adult. The more I open God's word and dare to discover what is written there... I am blessed, I am instructed, I am directed, I am reminded, I am forgiven, I am found. Nothing else in all the world could ever compare to the richness and pure life that is found in the pages of the Living Word. As the scriptures says, "...IT IS LIFE TO THOSE THAT FIND IT, AND HEALTH TO ALL THEIR FLESH."  Proverbs 4:26-27

The scripture tells us to "Examine ourselves" to see if we are still in the faith. Does not say to measure others or tell others what their sins are. Read God's Word, pray for wisdom, then look in the mirror and start walking like you should. In Obedience, one step at a time.

GROWING, GOING, GONE. END OF YEAR UPDATE for 2012 Sitting at my kitchen counter, 3:30 am seems   like a decent time to start writing   the End of Year Update. Inside it feels like I have not written in ages. There is always an excitement and anticipation for what is not yet, but what will be – once I sit my rear down and do what I have set my mind to do. Talk to you. I am certain much good will come of it. I realize it has been quite a while. Did not mean to let that much time pass us by, but I suppose these next few paragraphs will explain where I have been in the absence of writing to some of you over this last year. Focusing on being right where I am and nowhere else. Lord Jesus, please help us. Help us to grow up. To do what we know we should do. Help us to get going.
